The Lobos Ronin Snowboard Achievement Scholarship is a scholarship meant for snowboarders attending a national or international event. This scholarship is for athletes who are 10 years or older. Applications will be evaluated based on financial need. Applications must be submitted by March 15 and awards will be sent out on March 20. Funds will be applied to athlete’s SSWSC account and can be carried forward to the next year if fees are already paid in full.

The Neville Scholarship is awarded each spring to deserving Routt/Moffat County SSWSC graduating seniors to help cover college expenses. The funds are made available through a donation from Steamboat locals, the Neville Family. This scholarship is open to any SSWSC Senior participating in a full-time winter program planning to attend college in the future. This scholarship can be deferred if the senior is not planning to attend college immediately.

The Berge Family Scholarship is a new scholarship that will be awarded each year in the spring meant for FIS SSWSC Alpine athletes (U18-U21). The scholarship is supported by the Berge Family Endowed Scholarship Fund. The scholarship offered for 2026 is $3,000.

Athletic Achievement Award Fund Application date: February 13th- March 15th Source of Funds: These funds are generated by the Moose's Loose Golf Tournament as well as other private donations to this fund. All funds will be held under control of SSWSC Foundation and dispersed for the sole purpose of this award.

The new Nick Would Foundation Athletic Achievement Scholarship is intended for athletes between the ages of 13 and 18 years old in the freeski program who plan to attend three or more regional or national IFSA or USASA competitions. This achievement scholarship provides financial support to athletes who excel in the freeski or big mountain disciplines. Athletic achievement, compassion for others, and a solid moral character are the criteria for this award. Funds will be applied to athlete’s SSWSC account and can be carried forward to the next year if fees are already paid in full.
