2026 Neville Scholarship

The Neville Scholarship is awarded each spring to deserving Routt/Moffat County SSWSC graduating seniors to help cover college expenses. The funds are made available through a donation from Steamboat locals, the Neville Family. Application date: February 13-March 15 Selection Criteria:
  • Applicant must be in senior year at a local Routt/Moffat County high school.
  • Applicant must have a high school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Applicant demonstrated strong character traits while with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.
  • Applicant has been a Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club member for at least two years.
  • Athlete must currently be in a full-time competitive WINTER program.
  • Available to all athletes who meet the above criteria regardless of whether or not they are skiing in college.

The Moose Barrows Athletic Achievement Scholarship

Athletic Achievement Award Fund 
Application date: February 13th- March 15th
Source of Funds:
These funds are generated by the Moose's Loose Golf Tournament as well as other private donations to this fund. All funds will be held under control of SSWSC Foundation and dispersed for the sole purpose of this award.
Application Process:
Awards may be used to offset expenses related to competition costs
Award Criteria:
A) Athletes in all SSWSC winter disciplines are eligible
B) Athletes age 13 yrs or older (no exceptions) that qualify for a National Championship and/or Junior Nationals and or International Events.
C) Awards based upon actual event expenses
D) Athletes must be enrolled in a fulltime winter program 
E) Achievement Award Fund Application Criteria to include:
1) Character Reference
2) Copy of your most recent report card
